Who we are

Student Consultancy The Hague is a student-led, non-profit initiative founded in 2025 by Lucie Soukalová and Marco Gurin. We started this project because we saw a gap, many non-profits and NGOs are doing meaningful, high-impact work, but often don’t have the resources to access consulting support. At the same time, students from a wide range of academic backgrounds are eager to apply their skills in real-world settings and contribute to causes that matter. Our goal is to connect the two.

We provide free consulting services to non-profits and NGOs that could benefit from extra support, whether that’s with strategy, research, project planning, or communications. Our student teams work closely with each organisation to understand their goals, challenges, and context. Every project is built around what the client actually needs, with a focus on practical, thoughtful outcomes.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: access to useful advice and fresh ideas shouldn’t depend on budget. If an organisation is working to make a difference, we want to help make their work a little easier, clearer, or more effective, without adding financial pressure.

We value collaboration over assumptions, and curiosity over certainty. We don’t arrive with ready-made solutions, instead, we ask questions, listen carefully, and work alongside our clients to find the best path forward. At the same time, we see every project as an opportunity for students to grow through hands-on experience, learning how to navigate real-world challenges while making a tangible contribution.

Our approach is flexible, grounded, and client-centered. Some projects are short and focused, others unfold over several weeks, but all of them are guided by a commitment to quality, respect, and impact.

In everything we do, we aim to create value for both the organisations we support and the students who are part of the journey. Student Consultancy The Hague exists to bridge the gap between student potential and social impact. One project at a time.
