Application Process

We recruit motivated students committed to meaningful change who seek to apply their skills to real-world challenges in strategic thinking, policy analysis, communications, and organisational operations.

Whether you are looking to develop practical consulting skills or take on a leadership role within a student-led organisation, we offer a collaborative environment where students apply their skills to real projects at the heart of the international city of peace and justice.

The application process is designed to be transparent and accessible.

We follow a fair, structured, and transparent selection process to build our consulting teams each cycle. Every application progresses through three rounds, with each stage assessed independently by at least two assessors.

Here is what you can expect throughout the selection process:

Round 1 — CV & Cover Letter Screening

The first stage consists of a desk review of your CV and cover letter. There is no interview at this stage, so no additional preparation is required beyond submitting your written application.

Applications open on Monday, 17 August 2026, and close on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 at 23:59.

Applications will be reviewed between 15–18 September, with interview invitations sent by Friday, 18 September. Please keep an eye on your inbox during this period.

Round 2 — Problem-Solving Case & Behavioural Questions

Candidates selected for the second round will be invited to a one-on-one, in-person interview. The session combines a problem-solving case with behavioural questions focused on your experiences, skills, motivation, and approach to challenges.

This round will take place during our Recruiting Weekend on Saturday, 19 September and Sunday, 20 September 2026.

Final Decisions & Onboarding

Once all three rounds have been completed, final decisions will be communicated on Thursday, 24 September 2026.

For successful candidates, onboarding and training will begin during the week of Monday, 28 September – Sunday, 4 October 2026.

We are looking forward to meeting the next generation of consultants and learning more about you throughout the selection process.

Whatever the outcome, we wish you every success and hope you enjoy the experience. An exciting journey lies ahead!

Round 3 — Group Case Study

The final stage is an in-person group case study. Working alongside other candidates, you will tackle a consulting case as a team. This exercise allows us to assess how you collaborate, communicate, approach complex problems, and contribute to a team under realistic conditions.

Regarding evaluation, if two assessors disagree by more than one point on any criterion, we don't just average it out, we talk it through in a short calibration conversation so the result is fair.

The group case study will also take place during the Recruiting Weekend on 19–20 September 2026.
